Product details
Genuine Alpine® Cockroach Gel Bait by BASF — the professional's partner bait to Advion, supplied with its original printed BASF label and batch number; the box of 4 comes in the original sealed BASF box.
Active ingredient
Dinotefuran — a non-repellent neonicotinoid with a completely different mode of action from Indoxacarb (the active in Advion). That difference is exactly what makes Alpine the right partner for Advion, whether you use them together or in rotation.
Why it matters for kitchens and restaurants
Alpine carries EPA Reduced-Risk status, which is why pest professionals favour it in food-handling areas — restaurants, cafes, central kitchens and food storage. Applied as discreet dots inside cracks, with no spraying, no odour and no need to halt service.
Why professionals add Alpine
- Breaks bait aversion: a different active AND a different food matrix, so roaches that started refusing one bait accept this one
- Fast action with excellent secondary kill, particularly effective against nymphs
- Non-repellent — roaches feed willingly rather than scattering
- Controls German, American, Oriental, Brown-Banded and other prevailing species
Where to apply
Apply as a crack and crevice treatment: cabinet hinges and joints, behind and beneath the fridge and cooking equipment, under sinks around plumbing, inside appliance motor compartments, near drains and waste areas.
Dosage: 1–3 dots per 3 metres for light infestations, 3–5 dots for heavy ones. Several small dots always outperform one large blob.
Two ways to use Alpine with Advion
Together, for a heavy or stubborn infestation: alternate dots of Alpine and Advion (or Advion Evolution) along the same runs, a few centimetres apart — never on top of each other. Roaches that reject one bait take the other. Our Triple Gel Kit puts all three in one box.
In rotation, for prevention: 🔵 Months 1–3: Advion → 🔷 Months 4–6: Alpine → 🟢 Months 7–9: Advion Evolution → repeat.
⚠️ Critical: never spray repellent insecticide near the gel — spray residue is the single most common cause of gel bait failure.
Always read and follow the product label. Alpine® is a trademark of BASF — AoufPest is an independent distributor.
