How long does Advion gel take to kill cockroaches?
Results begin within 24–48 hours, and the entire colony is typically eliminated within 7–14 days. The gradual action is by design: the roach returns to its nest and transfers the toxin to dozens of others (up to 54 roaches from one feeding, per a Purdue University study).
Is the gel safe around children and pets?
Indoxacarb works with MetaActive technology — it's bio-activated only by the target insect's enzymes. Still, always apply the gel in cracks and hidden spots out of reach and follow the label instructions.
What's the difference between Advion and Alpine?
Advion (Indoxacarb) acts gradually and spreads through the colony — best for large infestations. Alpine (Dinotefuran) is faster and holds EPA Reduced-Risk status — best for kitchens. We recommend rotating between them every 3 months.
Why might the gel not work sometimes?
Most common causes: surfaces contaminated with repellent sprays or cleaning products, placement far from hiding spots, competing food sources, or bait aversion from prolonged use of one type. Contact us and we'll guide you for free.
How many dots should I apply and where?
Lentil-sized dots: 3–5 per 3 meters for heavy infestations, 1–3 for light ones — under the sink, behind the fridge and stove, cabinet joints, and around plumbing.
How do I know the product is genuine?
